Editorial Policy

Manuscripts to Plant Breed. Biotech. must be editorials, commentaries, original articles, review articles, short communications, case investigation report, book reviews and letter to the editor, which have not been published previously, and are not being considered for publication by other journals.
Original raw data must be available for review by the editorial board when required. All authors of a manuscript must have agreed to submit the manuscript to Plant Breed. Biotech. and are responsible for the whole content, including literature citation and acknowledgements. The authors must also have agreed that the corresponding author has the authority to act on their behalf on all matters pertaining to the publication of the paper, and that it is their responsibility to comply with copyright laws. When a manuscript is published in Plant Breed. Biotech., it is understood that authors have agreed to Plant Breed. Biotech.'s rights to protect the manuscript from misappropriation of their work, and that the manuscript becomes permanent property of Plant Breed. Biotech., which may not be published elsewhere without official permission.
The term of the Editor-in-Chief shall be two years and can be extended. The term of office for the Editors shall be two years and renewable.

Research ethics

Research frauds including forgeries, falsifications, plagiarisms, double publications, improper inclusion or exclusion of authors, etc. are strictly forbidden and will be dealt with guidelines set by the editorial board of Plant Breeding and Biotechnology (Plant Breed. Biotech.).
Reports dealing with experiments on transgenic plants, human or animal materials should meet the relevant regulations or requirements imposed by institutional or governmental authorities, and this should be clearly stated in the manuscript. These regulations and guidelines must be available for review by the editorial office. The editor reserves the right to reject papers if ethical standards are not satisfactorily met. Authorship

Anyone who made a substantial contribution to the work may be included as an author. All authors of each manuscript are responsible for the entire paper and must have agreed that the corresponding author has the authority to act on their behalf on all matters pertaining to publication of the manuscript. To avoid any possible dispute during processing, authorship changes including the order of authors' names during revision must be agreed upon by all of the authors and brought to the editor's attention in the cover letter submitted with the revised version.

All authors are to thoroughly read and sign Plant Breed. Biotech.'s "Copyright Transfer Agreement" form and submit it with the manuscript. Copyright of all manuscripts published in PBB belongs to the Korean Society of Breeding Science. This copyright covers stipulations in the copyright law of Korea.
